WRC Recycling secures a five-year partnership with leading property management firm, Colliers.
WRC Recycling is pleased to announce the successful award of a five-year partnership with the Colliers Property Management team to deliver comprehensive waste and recycling services across 11 sites located in Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Dundee. The collaboration strengthens WRC’s position as a leading waste solutions provider in Scotland’s commercial property sector and represents a shared commitment to environmental improvement across the built environment.
Colliers is a respected industry specialist providing property, facilities, and asset management services across the UK. Working with a broad range of landlords, occupiers, and investors, Colliers places strong emphasis on operational excellence, legislative compliance, and embedding sustainable practice across its managed estate.
The new partnership will see family-run WRC Recycling work closely with Colliers to bolster the firm’s recycling rates while driving down general waste across its portfolio. Through innovative waste-handling processes, data-driven reporting, on-site resource segregation, and continuous staff education, both organisations are committed to improving overall environmental performance.
Stephanie Johnston, Commercial Lead at WRC, said:
“We are delighted to partner with Colliers in this long-term agreement. Sustainability sits at the heart of our operations, and we will continue to implement responsible waste solutions that support Colliers’ sustainability ambitions. We look forward to strengthening recycling performance, reducing carbon impact, and delivering meaningful results for the 11 sites involved.”
As part of the long-term contract, WRC Recycling will implement tailored waste streams, provide regular audits, and deploy high-efficiency collection strategies to maximise material recovery. This approach not only contributes to Scottish Government circular economy targets, but also supports Colliers’ wider sustainability framework ambitions.
Robert Graham, Head of Colliers FM team in Scotland and Associate Director in the Property Management team, said: “We were impressed with WRC’s investment in a new recycling plant, commitment to working alongside us to achieve our sustainability goals and working with our clients and tenants to improve recycling rates.”
The agreement marks another significant milestone in WRC’s continued growth, reflecting its ability to deliver reliable, innovative, and fully traceable waste solutions for large-scale commercial property portfolios.
