WRC Recycling is proud to announce its four-year partnership with Erskine Veterans Charity, providing a complete waste management solution across the charity’s two sites which span Glasgow and Edinburgh locations. As part of this agreement, WRC has implemented a cradle-to-grave waste management package, which includes the delivery of skips/ roll-on-roll-off’s and 240-1100L wheelie bins to streamline waste collection and recycling across all premises. This new service not only optimises Erskine’s waste-handling processes but also supports the charity in achieving its ambitious recycling targets. By utilising WRC’s waste management capabilities, Erskine has been able to maintain a smooth operation at both sites, reinforcing both parties’ commitment to achieving zero-waste operations.

Nick O’Neill, Transport and Support Service Manager at Erskine Veterans Charity, expressed his satisfaction with the new partnership:
“We are delighted to appoint WRC Recycling as our waste management provider. Their service delivery has been prompt and efficient, and with their support, we’ve achieved significant progress in meeting our recycling targets. The measures put in place by WRC have allowed for a streamlined approach across our two sites, making our waste management both effective and sustainable. We look forward to strengthening our partnership with WRC, as they continue to help us focus on what we do best—supporting ex-veterans who have served our country.”

WRC Recycling has worked closely with Erskine Veterans Charity to tailor a waste management plan that fits the unique needs of their sites, which support veterans through housing, healthcare, and rehabilitation services. By ensuring a seamless service across all locations, WRC helps Erskine focus on its critical mission of offering vital care and support to veterans, without the distraction of complex waste management issues.

Margaret Kerr, Head of Trade Waste at WRC Recycling said:

WRC is committed to delivering reliable and environmentally responsible waste solutions, and we look forward to continuing this partnership, building on our shared values of community and sustainability.”
